What we collect
- What you tell us on the quote form: what you want to protect, job, birth year, state, coverage amount, tobacco use, general health, name, email and phone
- Proof of your consent: the words you agreed to, the time, the page, and your device and IP address
- Basic site data like pages viewed
Why we collect it
- To confirm your phone number with a text code
- To connect you with licensed agents who can quote you
- To keep a record that you agreed to be contacted
Who we share it with
If you agree on the form, we share your quote request with Dial Haul and the licensed insurance agents who buy requests through it. More than one agent may get your request. We also use service providers, like our texting company, who only use your data to do work for us. We may share data if the law requires it.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that sender
- Ask us to stop sharing your info and to delete it
- Depending on your state, you may have the right to see, fix or delete your data, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your data. Use the contact form and we will answer within the time the law sets.
How long we keep it
We keep consent records for at least as long as the law says we must, so we can prove you agreed. We keep other data only as long as we need it.
Kids
Coverfolk is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
